Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Update: It won't be wrong to say that DKP's head honcho Rajan Shahi knows how to create history. We're saying so because his production venture Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is set to complete 15 successful years on TV in the coming January. Currently starring Pranali Rathod and Harshad Chopda as Akshara and Abhimanyu respectively, the family drama has been going through major twists and turns for the past few months.

WILL HARSHAD CHOPDA LEAVE YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI?

After Jay Soni's exit in August, there have been constant rumours about the makers of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai planning for another generation leap. While the leap will reportedly taking place in the coming months, fans were left in shock when rumours suggested that YRKKH lead star Harshad Chopda is planning to quit the top-rated show even before the leap.

The new promo of the popular Star Plus show also hinted at Abhimanyu and Abhir's death in a car accident before the leap. Amid all this, a few reports also revealed that Harshad Chopda is likely to wrap up his shoot for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on October 30. While all of this left the actor's fans angry, here comes a piece of good news for them.

Well, it seems the makers have decided to postpone Harshad Chopda's exit from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Yes, you read that right! The decision has reportedly been taken just few days before the launch of Bigg Boss 17 as the ratings of YRKKH recently witnessed a hit. Isn't that interesting?

According to reports, Abhimanyu will not die in the car accident but the makers might kill Abhir's character to shock fans further. As per a report in Tellychakkar, the creators of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai have decided to extend Harshad's character, promising a significant plot twist in the show. However, there's been no confirmation on the same yet and an official announcement is awaited.
