Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Twist: Produced by Rajan Shahi's DKP, Pranali Rathod and Harshad Chopda have consistently captured the hearts of fans with their performance as Akshara and Abhimanyu in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH). As the family drama is set to complete 15 successful years in the coming January, the makers are planning a big surprise for the viewers.

Ever since Jay Soni's much-loved character Abhimanv ended in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, there have been constant rumours about the popular Star Plus show taking another generation leap two years after Harshad-Pranali took over as leads after Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan's exit.

YRKKH TWIST: ABHIMANYU & ABHIR TO DIE IN CAR ACCIDENT?

While the makers of YRKKH are yet to make an official announcement regarding the same, the show's current track revolves around Akshara and Abhimanyu's decision to remarry for Abhir's sake. Amid the wedding festivities, Akshara gets to know about getting pregnant with Abhinav's child. Abhimanyu eventually accepts the child and looks forward to the reunion with his lady love.

However, it looks like the makers have planned a shocking twist for the loyal viewers of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. As reported earlier, Abhimanyu and Abhir will die in a car accident before the leap. While there's no confirmation on the development yet, the latest promo has left AbhiRa fans angry as it shows Abhimanyu and Abhir getting into a car accident while Akshara waits for them dressed as a bride.

The promo has been posted on the official social media handle of Star Plus with the caption, "Akshara aur Abhimanyu de rahe hain apne rishtey ko ek nayi shuruaat. Kya khushiyaan dengi inke darwaaze par dastak, ya taqdeer khelegi koi nayaa khel?"

The promo has left AbhiRa fans irked as they are not happy with Abhimanyu's death twist. Sharing their displeasure in the comments section, an Instagram user wrote, "9 mths se fans ko dhokha dene ke liye thanks. Abhira fans will never forget this backstabbing."

Another user commented, "Shame of you DKP your ego finally win. You not deserving anything 2 years harshad and pranali work soo hard at least need to respect this them. Why this cruel ending destroy a about abhira starting me we all know you not like harshad and pranali then why introduce them?"

So far, the makers haven't confirmed Abhimanyu and Abhir's rumored demise.
