Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai New Cast: Produced by Rajan Shahi, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus is approaching its 15th anniversary in just three months. The show currently features Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod in the roles of Abhimanyu and Akshara. However, the family drama is about to take the fourth generation in a few days as the makers plan to give it a fresh makeover.

As previously reported, Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod will be leaving Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai due to the leap, and Samridhii Shukla and Shehzada Dhami will replace them as the new protagonists. While fans of AbhiRa may not be pleased with their departure, most of the cast members, except those from the Goenka family, will bid farewell to this long-running show.

Amid all this, there are rumours that the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai makers have roped in another talented actor to play a pivotal role after the much-awaited leap. Well, we're talking about Siddharth Vasudev. It is being said that he's likely to play the new villain in the long-running Star Plus show. Yes, you read that right!

Revealing the same, a Tellychakkar report states that Siddharth's character will be an important one, shaping the narrative to keep it captivating and exciting. The actor is expected to portray an underdog in a negative role. However, an official announcement regarding the same is still awaited from the makers' side.

For those who are unaware, Siddharth Vasudev is best known for his stints in popular shows like CID, Rajjo, and Kasamh Se among others.

For those who are unaware, the new season of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will start from November 6 onwards on Star Plus, at 9:30 pm daily. The family drama will also feature Shruti Ulfat, Anita Raj, and Rishabh Jaiswal among others in pivotal roles.
