Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Exclusive: Produced by Rajan Shahi, Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is gearing up to celebrate its 15th anniversary in three months. Currently, the show features Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod in the roles of Abhimanyu and Akshara, respectively. However, next month, the family drama is set to undergo a significant transformation with the introduction of a fourth-generation leap, as the makers aim to revamp the storyline.

As previously reported, Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod are confirmed to move out of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai due to the leap, making way for Samridhii Shukla and Shehzada Dhami to take on the roles of the new protagonists Abhira and Armaan respectively. While fans of Abhimanyu and Akshara may be disappointed by their exits, most of the cast members, except for the Goenka family, will bid farewell to the long-standing show.

RISHABH JAISWAL CONFIRMS JOINING YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI

While several known names are set to join the cast of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, MTV Roadies - Karm Ya Kaand fame Rishabh Jaiswal has also confirmed his entry in the long-running Star Plus show. Also seen in Kundali Bhagya and Anupamaa, the actor is excited to be a part of another big show.

In YRKKH, Rishabh Jaiswal will be seen essaying the pivotal role of the new hero's brother named Krish and has already started shooting for it. In an exclusive chat with Filmibeat, Rishabh shared interesting details about his character and said, "So basically, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai mei jo main lead hai na, jo family introduce hone wali hai, jo main lead hai, I'm playing his younger brother."

He added, "It is going to be a lawyer family, I'm the one who wants to be a lawyer but doesn't want to join the family business. He was to explore something new and different in life. Yeh jo character hai wo rebel hai, bohot zyada fun-loving hai, family mei involved rehta hai, he has a crazy streak to him. So, the character has a fun vibe and matches with my personality. I'm really happy that I'm getting a role that is close to my personality. Ismei bhi aage jaa ke bohot saari cheezein dekhne ko milegi. But, hopefully, role bohot hi pyaara hai and bohot hi acha hai."
