Anupamaa Update: Featuring Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna as the main protagonists Anupama and Anuj Kapadia, Rajan Shahi's Anupamaa premiered on Star Plus in 2020 and has consistently been among the highest-rated shows across all channels. Since its debut, this family drama has topped the TRP charts, with viewers particularly enjoying the current episodes.

Several months ago, the creators introduced a five-year leap in the storyline to keep Anupamaa engaging and entertaining for its loyal fanbase. This shift moved the setting to the United States following the separation of the beloved couple Anupama and Anuj, affectionately known as MaAn by fans.

However, as per the current track, both of them are back in India to attend the wedding festivities of Titu and Dimpy. Amid all this, they confessed love for each other resulting in Shruti's (Sukirti Kandpal) exit. While Anuj wishes to reunite with Anupama, she's not ready yet as Aadhya hates her.

While Anupamaa is still topping the TRP charts, there have been constant rumors about Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna's fallout. According to reports, all is not well between the duo and they are not on talking terms off-screen. While they haven't yet opened up about the same, their former co-star Sagar Parekh has confirmed their fallout in a recent interview. Yes, you read that right!

Talking about the same, Sagar called them professionals and told Tellymasala, "Theek nahi hai, aisa nahi kahunga. But, haa matlab, they don't... mai ye nahi kahunga ki unke beech bohot problems hai. But, dono bohot professional hai. Aur professional life mei usually aisa har jagah hota hai jahaan aap same point mei har baat pe nahi aa sakte. That is very obvious. Agar usko aap big deal bana do toh wo phir ek issue hai, jo I think dono mei se koi nahi banata. They're very professional at their work and dono iss maamle mei bohot co-operative hai."

On being asked if they talk to each other only during scenes, the talented actor confirmed it and said, "Haan and that is professionalism. They're maintaining professionalism at their peak. Wo alag baat hai ki hum usually expect karte hai ki agar aap ek actor ho toh apne co-actor ke saath friendly bhi ho jao. Har baar zaruri nahi hota ki aap dost bhi ban jao. Nahi bane toh nahi bane."

"Aap daily ek-dusre ke saath shoot kar rahe ho, hamare ghar mei bhi behes ho jaati hai. Toh wo behes hona is aam baat. Aisa thodi hai ki kisike ek-dusre ko disrespect kiya ho. Aapne kabhi dekha hai ki wo ek-dusre ko put down kar rahe hai? Maine toh nahi dekha ki dono mei se koi ek-dusre ko put down kar raha hai ya kisi ne bhi interview mei aisa kuch bola jo saamne wale ki izzat ko neeche kar raha hai ya kuch aisa kar raha hai. Stressing the fact that now everyone has to become friends on set, he concluded, "Toh mai aisa kuch nahi kahunga ki bohot drama hai but it is normal for two people to not be okay at some point with each other.
