Anupamaa Set Accident: A heartbreaking incident unfolded on the set of Rupali Ganguly's hit show Anupamaa, where a newly recruited camera assistant tragically lost his life due to electrocution. The accident occurred at Goregaon Film City when the assistant accidentally came into contact with exposed wires, reportedly caused by a short circuit.

The young camera assistant, originally from Bihar, was rushed to the hospital after receiving immediate medical attention on-site. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries, leaving the entire team of Anupamaa and the Indian television industry in shock.

BN Tiwari, President of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), confirmed the tragic event and revealed that the assistant was relatively new to the set, with few team members knowing him well. Tiwari assured that a thorough investigation would be conducted and that the assistant's family would be provided with compensation.
