In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Sudhanshu Pandey addressed rumors of insecurity following Gaurav Khanna's introduction in the top-rated show. Sudhanshu dismissed such notions, emphasizing that character dynamics are a natural aspect of daily soap operas. He reiterated that the core trio of characters-Kavya, Vanraj, and Anu-formed the foundation of the show's success.

He stated, "Dekho, daily shows mein maine ye realize kiya hai ki characters add hote rehte hai. Wo chahe Gaurav ho ya koi naya bacha aae usmei, ya koi bhi aae. Jab koi naya character aata hai toh uspe focus karte hi hai. Having said that, show mei 3 hi main pillars the shuru mei, apart from the pairings, wo tha Kavya, Anupamaa, and Vanrah Shah. Sudhanshu revealed that while Gaurav's character, Anuj, was initially slated for a temporary stint of three months, the audience's positive reception led to his prolonged presence. However, he affirmed that Vanraj Shah's presence is indispensable to the show's drama, underscoring his iconic status within the narrative.

Despite occasional shifts in focus towards different characters, Sudhanshu maintains a secure outlook as an actor, unfazed by online criticism. He clarified that any perceived insecurity stems from misunderstandings regarding his character's portrayal, rather than personal animosity towards other actors.

Reacting to 'insecurity' rumours, the actor added, "Sideline toh kabhi feel nahi kiya. Me as an actor is extremely secure but Social media pe jo trolling hoti hai, wo bohot gandi hoti hai. Usmei log bolte hai ki insecure actor hai, mujhe use koi farak nahi padta."
