Ekta Kapoor New Show Heroine: After the success of long-running K-dramas like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Kabhu Thi, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii in the early 2000s, Ekta Kapoor established her as the soap queen of Indian TV and has been regularly making successful dramas for the small screen viewers.

Besides saas-bahu-sagas, Ekta Kapoor also proved her worth by producing many hit supernatural shows and historical dramas including Jodha Akbar (ZEE TV) and the hugely popular Naagin (Colors TV) franchise. After launching Adnan Khan and Mallika Singh starrer Pracchand Ashok on Colors TV recently, the TV czarina is reportedly working on multiple shows.

According to the latest buzz, Ekta Kapoor has approached in two popular actresses to play the female lead in her upcoming show. Well, one of them is Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin fame Ayesha Singh. Yes, you read that right! However, she's not the only one who's said to be in talks with the makers for the part.

Interestingly, Chand Jalne Laga star Kanika Mann is also eyeing the upcoming show. Isn't that interesting? Gossips TV, the popular social media handle known for sharing details related to shows and celebrities, has shared the development with fans. However, an official confirmation regarding the same is still awaited.

HAS EKTA KAPOOR APPROACHED AYESHA SINGH AND KANIKA MANN FOR NAAGIN 7?

While there's still no update about the show's genre and channel, fans, in the post's comments section, are wondering whether it is Naagin 7. The seventh season of the supernatural drama has been making headlines ever since Tejasswi Prakash starrer Naagin 6 went off-air last year. Interestingly, Ayesha's name has been doing the rounds for Naagin 7 since last year.

However, Ekta hasn't yet revealed whether Ayesha and Kanika are in talks for Naagin 7 or if it's a totally different show. Well, only time will tell.
