Hosted by Mahesh Manjrekar, the controversial reality show's previous seasons turned out to be hugely successful and viewers are looking forward to the launch of Bigg Boss Marathi 5.

Bigg Boss Marathi is making a grand comeback, exciting fans across Maharashtra who have been eagerly anticipating its return for the past two years. Taking to social media today (May 21), the makers unveiled the first promo of Bigg Boss Marathi 5 leaving everyone excited.

Interestingly, Mahesh Manjrekar isn't hosting the new season and the makers have introduced the show's new host in the promo. Well, a well-known name will be seen stepping into Manjrekar's shows in new season and he's none other than Bollywood and Marathi star Riteish Deshmukh. Yes, you read that right!

BIGG BOSS MARATHI 5: MAHESH MANJREKAR EXIT REASON

While the Bigg Boss Marathi 5 promo has left everyone excited, a section of social media users aren't happy with Mahesh Manjrekar's exit and is wondering why the seasoned actor isn't a part of the upcoming reason. While the actor is yet to open about his absence, reports suggest that he wanted to take a break from Bigg Boss and hence, chose not to host the fifth season.

Bigg Boss Marathi 5 will air on Colors Marathi and is likely to premiere next month (June). However, the makers are yet to announce the premiere date. The show will also stream on Jio Cinema. So far, the names of BB Marathi 5 contestants are not yet revealed by the show's team.
