Elvish Yadav In NEW Trouble; ED Files Money Laundering Case Against Bigg Boss OTT 2 Winner & YouTuber

Elvish Yadav Money Laundering Case: Since Elvish Yadav emerged as the winner of the Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss OTT 2 last year, the YouTuber has consistently been in the spotlight, often for less than favorable reasons. Over the past few months, speculation has been going on regarding his alleged connection to the Snake Venom case.
While Elvish Yadav getting bail in the snake venom case in March came as a big relief for his family and fans, it looks like his trouble is not going to end anytime soon as Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a new case the hugely popular social media star.
MONEY LAUNDERING CASE AGAINST ELVISH YADAV
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has registered a money laundering case against Elvish Yadav and among others, in connection with the snake venom-rave party case. Yes, you read that right!
Under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), the probe agency has filed charges after taking note of a case filed against him and others in Noida on November 2, 2023. The ED is currently probing the alleged generation of proceeds of crime and the use of illicit funds for organizing raves or parties.
According to sources cited by the news agency PTI, Elvish Yadav and several others associated with the case will be questioned as part of the investigation. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) will also scrutinize the convoy of luxury cars owned by the YouTuber. In addition to Elvish, the ED will also question the proprietors of prominent hotels, resorts, and farmhouses.
ELVISH YADAV RECENT ARREST AND OTHER CONTROVERSIES
The YouTuber was arrested on March 17 by the Noida Police on allegations of providing snake venom at a suspected rave party allegedly hosted by him. Following his arrest, the 26-year-old was presented before a court and remanded to 14-day judicial custody.
However, five days subsequent to his arrest, he was granted bail by a Noida court. Last month, the Noida Police filed a 1200-page chargesheet against Elvish Yadav and eight others in the snake venom-rave party case. It included evidence of exotic snake smuggling and rave parties, along with explanations for invoking the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) in the case.
In March, the YouTuber was also granted bail in an assault case involving content creator Sagar Thakur, also known as Maxtern.
