Rohit Chandel Exclusive: Since its premiere in 2021, Star Plus' Pandya Store has captivated audiences and consistently performed well in the TRP ratings. The family drama, starring Rohit Chandel and Priyanshi Yadav as the main protagonists Dhawal and Natasha, recently introduced a significant seven-year time leap, bringing new developments to the storyline.

ROHIT CHANDEL ON PANDYA STORE 2 POSSIBILITY

Despite fans eagerly anticipating the post-leap track, the news of Pandya Store going off the air has shocked the entire fandom. In an exclusive chat with Filmibeat, lead star Rohit Chandel expressed his disappointment about the show ending and opened up about the possibility of Pandya Store 2.

On being asked if there's a possibility about a new season of Pandya Store as the show is still performing well on the ratings front, Rohit Chandel told us, "I'm not sure. It depends on the channel. I think Season 2 (the second generation) was more insightful and engaging than the first season. That's what I've seen in the world of the internet. Let's see, it depends on the channel and the production."

ROHIT CHANDEL ON NEW PROJECTS AFTER PANDYA STORE

The talented actor, also seen in shows like Escaype Live (Disney Plus Hotstar) and Kashibai Bajirao Ballal (ZEE TV), opened up about new projects after Pandya Store and revealed that he's getting many calls.

He said, "Obviously, I'll do more and more projects. I'm choosy about the channel these days. There are so many things... as soon as the Pandya Store came out, so many calls were there. But, I'm very choosy about the channel, the project, and the storyline. So, let's see."

Talking to Filmibeat earlier, Rohit Chandel call Pandya Store off-air decision unfair and stated, "The channel didn't make a fair decision. After the 7-year leap, they didn't give the production (time) to even wait for the TRP of the leap. If they had informed us earlier toh production ka bohot sara costing bach jata. They hired around 7-8 new artists and replaced a few. They even killed Amrish bhai (Ankur Nayyar), wo bhi show mei rehte hamare sath. I was attached to him very much."

The last episode of Pandya Store will air on May 26 (Sunday) on Star Plus at 7:30 pm. After a year of entertaining fans, the love story of NaWal will finally have a happy ending.
