EXCLUSIVE | Pandya Store Lead Rohit Chandel Calls Off-Air Decision ‘Unfair’: Feeling Bad For Viewers…

Pandya Store Rohit Chandel Exclusive

Rohit Chandel Exclusive: Since its premiere in 2021, Star Plus' Pandya Store has captivated audiences and consistently performed well on the TRP front. Starring Rohit Chandel and Priyanshi Yadav as the main protagonists, Dhawal and Natasha, the family drama recently introduced a significant seven-year time leap, bringing new developments to the storyline.

While NaWal fans were looking forward to the post-leap track, the news of Pandya Store going off-air shocked the whole fandom. In an exclusive chat with Filmibeat, the much-loved show's lead star Rohit Chandel finally opened up about his much-loved show going off-air and revealed that he's feeling bad about the viewers.

ROHIT CHANDEL'S FIRST REACTION ON PANDYA STORE GOING OFF-AIR

On being asked if he thinks the channel made an unfair decision, Rohit Chandel told us, "The channel didn't make a fair decision. After the 7-year leap, they didn't give the production (time) to even wait for the TRP of the leap. If they had informed us earlier toh production ka bohot sara costing bach jata. They hired around 7-8 new artists and replaced a few. They even killed Amrish bhai (Ankur Nayyar), wo bhi show mei rehte hamare sath. I was attached to him very much."

Revealing that the whole team was giving their best in making the post-leap track engaging and entertaining for fans, the talented actor added, "We worked so hard after leap because we shot in Naigaon. As creative people in this industry, we avoid shooting in sunny weather but we were shooting near sea coast, in Naigaon. It was extremely hot, we got tanned. There was a huge expense for all this. Later, we came to know that the show was going off-air so that wasn't fair at all. It would've been fair if we had been informed earlier."

ROHIT CHANDEL MORE CONCERNED ABOUT PANDYA STORE & NAWAL FANS

While Rohit is optimistic that he'll be back soon with a new project, the TV star is more concerned about Pandya Store fans. "As an artist, I know detachment is part of an actor's life. That is still okay but I'm more concerned about viewers, my fans because they really like Pandya Store. It was more shocking for them because I might be doing some next project within a month only but it's so hard to digest for them. I'm feeling bad for the viewers of Pandya Store," he concluded.

We believe that Pandya Store has consistently been among the top-rated shows in the evening slot across channels and deserved a chance to shine, especially after its recent time leap. What are your thoughts? Share your views in the comments section below.
