In no time, the daily soap won hearts and was among the highest-rated shows across channels.

After being a part of Imlie for two years, Gashmeer Mahajani quit the show and the makers then introduced Fahmaan Khan as the new male lead Aryan Singh Rathore. The actor became a household name as Aryan and fans loved his onscreen chemistry with Sumbul Touqeer Khan. Both were shipped as AryLie and SuMaan by fans.

Yet in 2022, Sumbul and Fahmaan took their leave from the show, marking the transition into a new era with a generation leap. Since then, the show has been going through many ups and downs on the TRP front. Amid all this, the recent reports suggested that Imlie 3 might soon go off-air after a run of around four years.

While the development left the show's fans devastated, they were hopeful about the reports being just speculations. However, in a recent interview, Imlie producer Gul Khan finally opened up about the ongoing rumours and confirmed that Imlie is indeed ending soon. Yes, you read that right!

Reacting to the same, she told Tellychakkar, "It's been a long run, before it dips further we wanted to end it now so the brand still had a value."

As per the current reports, Imlie is likely to bid goodbye to fans next month, in May. However, an official announcement regarding the last episode date is still awaited from the makers' side.
