Imlie Last Episode: In 2020, Gul Khan's 4 Lions Films' Imlie premiered on Star Plus. With Sumbul Touqeer Khan, Gashmeer Mahajani, and Mayuri Deshmukh portraying Imlie, Aditya, and Malini respectively, the daily soap swiftly captured the audience's love and attention, emerging as one of the highest-rated shows across all channels.

Last year, Imlie's creators announced a third-generation leap, introducing Sai Ketan Rao and Adrija Roy as the new lead actors, replacing Karan Vohra and Megha Chakraborty (second generation leads). While the fresh faces were accepted by the dedicated fanbase, the show's decline began following Agastya's demise.

After almost four years of entertaining viewers and three generational shifts, Imlie finally bid farewell to its audience last night (May 12). The cast and crew recently concluded filming, sharing heartfelt farewell messages on social media, evoking a wave of emotions among fans.

As Imlie ended with a happy ending leacving fans satisfied, the OG lead actress opened up about the show finally going off-air in a recent interview and revealed that she was in shock after she heard about the daily soap's end.

SUMBUL TOUQEER KHAN REACTS TO IMLIE GOING OFF-AIR

Reacting to it, Sumbul Touqeer Khan told Tellymasala, "Main shock mei thi jab aisa sunne mein aaya ki Imlie off-air ho raha hai. Isliye kyunki Imlie mera sabse pehla bada project tha. Mujhe jo kuch mila hai sab Imlie ki wajah se hua hai aaj tak. Mujhe thoda sa aisa lag raha tha ki ye kya acahanak se... because I didn't expect that at all kyunki mai set pe jaati rehti thi jab bhi mera film city mei shoot hota tha, puri team to wahi thi. Infact, Adrija and Sai, sabko mai jaanti hun personally bhi ab. Baaki, jo team hai hamari, crew and everything, I known them very closely."

She added, "Toh mai jaati rehti thi Imlie ke set pe, matlab itna pyaara mera relation hai waha pe har ek insaan se aur wo bhi bohot khush hote the jab bhi mai aati thi. So, mai wo miss karne wali hun. But, it's for the best, yahi sochna padta hai."
