Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Controversy Update: Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai premiered in 2009 and has been grabbing eyeballs ever since Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod's exits last year due to the fourth generation leap. This transition introduced new lead characters, Abhira and Armaan, portrayed by Samridhii Shukla and Shehzada Dhami.

Despite initial hurdles, Samridhii Shukla and Shehzada Dhami managed to win over the show's loyal viewers. However, a shocking turn of events occurred in March this year as Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe were removed from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai by producer Rajan Shahi due to alleged unprofessional behavior.

PRATIKSHA HONMUKHE REACTS TO YRKKH EXIT & HER PARENTS' REACTION

While Pratiksha Honmukhe was replaced by Garvita Sadhwani, the former has finally opened up for the first time on her controversial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai exit in a recent interview and also revealed her parents reaction on the whole incident.

Talking about the same, Pratiksha told Times Now, "Shocking se zyada mere ghar wallo ko mere liye bura lag raha tha. Unko pata hai ki unki beti kaisi hai. Unko pata hai ki mai zor se chilla bhi nahi sakti hu, so unko wo zayada cheez hurt hui thi. Unko mujh per pura bharosa hai aur iss sab ke beech unko iss baat par bhi pura yakeen tha ki mai kabhi kuch galat nahi ker sakti."

PRATIKSHA HONMUKHE'S FIRST REACTION ON RAJAN SHAHI'S ACCUSATIONS

Besides the 'unprofessional' tag, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai producer Rajan Shahi also claimed that Pratiksha wasn't able to perform as per expectations which resulted in her termination. Not just that, she was also linked to Shehzada Dhami.

Breaking her silence for the first time on the accusations, she added, "Dekho hum kitno ka hi muh band kera sakte hai. Agar kal mera koi dusera dost ban jata hai, tho log us se bhi mujhe linkup karna start kar denge, but uska matalb ye thodi hai ki mai uske sath hu. I think log toh bolte rahnge hame sirf apna kam kerna hai and jo huwa bhagwan dekh rahe hai that kaun galat hai kaun sahi hai."

The actress is now all set to return to the small screen with ZEE TV's Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye in which she's essay the pivotal role of Priyanka, the ex-wife of Virat (Arjit Taneja).
