Raj Anadkat New Show Announced: Produced by Asit Modi, SAB TV's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is among the most successful shows in the history of Indian TV. Raj Anadkat became a household name after essaying the pivotal role of Jethalal's (Dilip Joshi) son Tappu in TMKOC.

Raj Anadkat entered Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah in 2017 after replacing Bhavya Gandhi and announced his exit in 2022 after being a part of the long-running sitcom for around five years. Since then, his fans have been eagerly awaiting his comeback on the small screen.

TMKOC'S TAPPU, RAJ ANADKAT CONFIRMS BAGGING NEW SHOW

Since the beginning of 2024, there have been reports about Raj Anadkat's entry in Rajan Shahi's Star Plus show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Abhir. While the development left his well-wishers elated, it looks like those were mere rumours. But, here comes a piece of good news for the actor's fans!

Well, the talented actor has finally announced his next show after Taarak Mehta Ka Ootah Chashmah and it's not Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Yes, you read that right! Instead, Raj has been signed to play the lead role in a Gujarati show.

In his recent vlog, the TV star announced his new show and shared his excitement with his fans. He said, "I am super duper excited for this new journey, I am going to play the lead character. I know all of you have been waiting to see me back on TV, I have been quite excited and nervous. I am finally signing the papers for the show. I even did the mock shoot and I even went to the sets. I will soon share the glimpse of all this on my vlog."

The much-awaited show will air on Colors Gujarati and features Sana Amin Sheikh as the female lead opposite Raj Anadkat. It also features veterans like Siddharth Randeria, Apara Mehta, Ragini Shah, and Muni Jha among others in pivotal characters.

While the title and time slot will be revealed soon, the makers unveiled the show's first glimpse on the official Instagram handle of Colors Gujarati. Take a look at it below:
