Shefali Jariwala Death: Actress Took IV Drip The Day She Died?

While we are still reeling from the tragic demise of Shefali Jariwala, shocking details of her last moments before her untimely demise have surfaced on the internet. In an interview with senior journalist Vickey Lalwani, who was the first one to break the news of Jariwala's death, one of the late actress's close friends, Pooja Ghai, recalled the horrific details of the day Shefali passed away.

During the conversation, Pooja revealed that Shefali had taken a vitamin C IV drip hours before her death. "On that day, she did take the drip, the vitamin C. But like I said, it's a very normal thing to take a vitamin C. I mean, we all take vitamin C, right? I think post-COVID people have just started taking vitamin C as regularly as possible. And vitamin C is something I take as well. So it's a very normal thing," she told the journalist.

"While I was standing there, the police guys called for the guy who gave her the IV drip to just check what was the medicine that she was taking, and that's when it was unfolded that she had taken an IV drip," she added.

Weighing in on the practice of taking IV drips and anti-ageing infusions being a common thing, especially in the entertainment industry, Pooja continued, "It's so common. In fact, if you walk down the streets here in Dubai, you see multiple vitamin C drips at regular clinics and salons. She was in a profession where she had to be her best, and she was her best. She looked the best."

Shefali Jariwala's Last Moments Before Her Tragic Death

In the same conversation, Pooja also took us through what happened that night, before Shefali took her last breath. "But what I have understood from family, from Parag is that there was a beautiful Satyanarayan ki puja. In fact, the next day when we were allowed to enter home to bring Shefali for the last rites, I realised that the whole house was decorated for puja. So there was Satyanarayan ki puja at home and they did a beautiful puja setup at home," Pooja said.

She further revealed that post dinner, Shefali had asked Parag to take their dog on a walk. But the moment he went down, their house help apparently called the actor and asked him to come up, as Shefali started to feel uneasy. Pooja recalled, "And the moment he went down, apparently he was called. The helper at home called him and said, 'Didi is not feeling well.' So, she told him, 'Could you just come up, take care of me?' The dog is really old. And he told the helper, 'I've just come down for a walk, so why don't you come down, take him for a walk and I'll come up.'"

"He was waiting down the lift, the helper came down, he handed over the dog and when he went up, Parag said that she still had the pulse. And her eyes were not opening and she just had dead weight to her body. So he immediately must have realised that something's definitely wrong. And he took her to the hospital... before she was brought in at Bellevue, she was already no more," Shefali's friend added.

As per the Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital, Sehfali Jariwala was declared "brought dead" around 11.15 pm on June 27.
