Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Today Episode: In tonight's (March 8) episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Swarna, Surekha, and Manish decide to visit Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) and Armaan (Rohit Purohit) at their new home, only to be left utterly shocked by the condition of their house. The sight of the small, modest home, lacking the comforts they were accustomed to, deeply unsettles them.

Surekha, unable to hold back her emotions, turns to Abhira and asks why she and Armaan didn't reach out to them for help. She expresses her disappointment that they had chosen to struggle on their own instead of coming to their family for support.

Noticing the state of the colony where Abhira and Armaan are now residing, Surekha insists that Abhira should come back to the Goenka house, as she doesn't believe this neighborhood is suitable for her. However, Armaan steps in, apologizing to them. He acknowledges that he never intended for Abhira to live in such conditions, but he has made a conscious decision to carve out his own path. He explains that he wants to establish his own identity and not live under the shadow of his family's name.

Just then, the delivery staff arrive with a fridge and sofas, surprising Abhira and Armaan. Swarna informs them that she had placed the order for these essentials, knowing very well that they wouldn't return to the Goenka house. She wanted to ensure that they at least had some basic comforts. However, Armaan politely but firmly refuses to accept the gifts. He tells Swarna that while he understands her concerns, he cannot take them because it would hurt his self-respect. He wants to build his life from scratch and doesn't want any external help.

Meanwhile, back at the Poddar house, Charu is taken aback when she learns that Armaan and Abhira have left the family home. Concerned, she immediately picks up her phone to call them.

However, Kaveri intervenes and stops her, making it clear that since Armaan and Abhira have left of their own free will, no one in the family is allowed to reach out to them. She states that they made their choice, and now they must live with it.

MANISH PRAISES ARMAAN FOR HIS COURAGE

Later, Manish praises Armaan and expresses his admiration for his courage in leaving the Poddar house. He appreciates Armaan's determination to stand on his own feet and assures him that he believes in him. Manish provides words of encouragement, telling Armaan that while the journey may be tough, he has the strength to overcome every challenge that comes his way.

Later Abhira takes on all the responsibilities of managing their home. She does all the cleaning and cooking, ensuring that their little household is well taken care of. She even cooks food for Shivani, making sure she eats properly. However, while doing the chores, Abhira accidentally drops a pen belonging to Akshara into a bucket of water. When she realizes what has happened, she is overcome with emotion. The pen, a cherished memento of Akshara, no longer works, and Abhira is reminded of her fond memories of her. The moment brings a wave of nostalgia, making her emotional about the past.

Meanwhile, Kiara and Abhir visit the Poddar house for the Pagphera ritual, a tradition where a newlywed bride returns to her maternal home after marriage. However, the atmosphere is tense as Kaveri outright refuses to accept the marriage. She makes it clear that she does not recognize Kiara and Abhir's union and does not wish to be a part of any post-wedding customs.

Ruhi and Manisha, however, stand up to Kaveri, pointing out that since the marriage has already taken place, the family must accept it. They argue that whether anyone agrees or not, the reality is that Kiara and Abhir are now married, and the family has to acknowledge and respect that fact.
