Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update May 26: Abhira Meets Maira; Will Armaan Get Engaged To Geetanjali?

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Today Episode: As the scenic road to Mount Abu unwinds in tonight's (May 26) episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Vidya and Dadi Sa engage in a heartfelt conversation, expressing their mutual decision to skip Krish's engagement. In a separate part of the vehicle, Abhira (Samridhii Shukla), seeking a moment of joy, switches on the radio and begins enjoying a song that plays.

However, she suddenly pauses, startled by what she believes to be Armaan's (Rohit Purohit) voice airing on the radio. Overcome with emotion and curiosity, she abruptly stops the car, but the radio signal distorts, leaving her unable to hear the voice clearly and confirm if it truly was Armaan. The moment lingers in her mind, leaving her unsettled yet contemplative.

The trio finally reaches their destination in Mount Abu. While Vidya and Kaveri step out to indulge in a comforting plate of Maggi by a street stall, Abhira decides to enjoy a cup of steaming chai from a nearby vendor. The fresh mountain air, bustling local culture, and brief escape from their routine bring a refreshing change to all three women.

As a sweet gesture, Kaveri and Vidya pick up a bunch of vibrant sunflowers from a roadside stall, intending to surprise Abhira with her favorite flowers. However, their plans take an unexpected turn when they encounter a young girl, Maira, who approaches them, requesting the same bunch of sunflowers.

She explains she had searched all the shops but couldn't find any. Kaveri, adamant and slightly territorial, refuses to part with the flowers, but Vidya softens and offers her two. Maira, however, insists she needs the entire bouquet for someone very special - Geetanjali. Tension brews between the women, but the matter momentarily dissolves as they walk away.

Determined, Maira notices the flowers left unattended in their car while Kaveri and Vidya are eating. She seizes the moment, takes the flowers, and leaves behind money in the car as a form of compensation. However, Kaveri and Vidya spot her mid-act and begin chasing her through the bustling street.

MAIRA AND ABHIRA'S FIRST MEETING

During her escape, Maira accidentally bumps into Abhira, and they both tumble to the ground. Abhira, surprised but concerned, quickly helps Maira clean herself with her dupatta and gently asks why she was running. Maira, flustered yet honest, shares the entire sequence of events. Her innocence and determination to get the flowers for Geetanjali touch Abhira's heart, and a genuine bond begins to form between them.

Just then, Kaveri and Vidya catch up and question Abhira's decision to let the girl go after she took their flowers. Abhira, with calm maturity, explains that Maira simply wanted to bring joy to her mother, and sometimes, understanding a person's intention is more important than the act itself. Her words strike a chord, and even the elders are left with little to argue.

Later, Vidya starts to bleed from the nose as she can't adapt to the hilly weather, and Abhira apologises for bringing her. Kaveri tells Abhira not to apologise for everything, and they take her to the hospital. Meanwhile, Kaveri tells Abhira that she will look after Vidya until she can go and deliver the sarees. Abhira steps on a vegetable truck and goes to deliver the sarees.

Meanwhile, at the house, Maira proceeds with her mission - getting both Armaan and Geetanjali ready separately, each unaware about the engagement that Maira has planned. Suspicion begins to rise in both of them, as they can sense something is brewing, but are unable to figure out what exactly.

Now, it'll be interesting how Armaan and Geetanjali would react to their engagement surprise and will he meet Abhira or not?
