Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Leap Update: Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been continuously entertaining viewers since its premiere in 2009 and the family drama is currently revolving around the fourth generation with Samridhii Shukla essaying the female lead Abhira alongside Rohit Purohit aka Armaan.

One of the longest-running daily soaps in the history of Indian Television, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been consistently performing well on the TRP charts and a major reason behind its success is the storyline and continuous twists that the writers introduce. We're saying so because YRKKH is once again going to witness a leap very soon. Yes, you read that right!

For those unaware, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is all set for a two-year leap after which Maira will be shown as an adult. The makers will introduce a new guy opposite her as Maira reveals to Armaan and Abhira that she has someone in her life. The much-loved show will soon witness several new entries and one of them will be actress Aastha Chaudhary, who is best known for playing the heroine of late Siddharth Shukla in the Sony TV show Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na.

Besides her, seasoned actress Shagufta Ali, Aaditya Gupta, Aadesh Chaudhry, and Anupamaa fame Kuldeep Singh too have been roped in to play important characters in YRKKH post the upcoming leap.

YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI STORYLINE POST-LEAP: WHAT TO EXPECT?

Revealing the post-leap storyline, a source informed TOI, "The post-leap story will introduce an entirely new family, and all these actors will be part of that setup. Aaditya's character enters opposite Maira, and their equation will be central to the upcoming track. Aastha plays a warm, affectionate and doting mother who holds the family together, while Kuldeep's character brings a different dynamic to the household. The makers are hoping this new family will add emotional depth and fresh relationships to the narrative, giving the audience a new journey to invest in after the leap."

However an official confirmation regarding the same is still awaited.
