Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Today Episode: In tonight's (January 12) episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, emotions run high as past regrets, hidden truths, and simmering suspicions intertwine with preparations for a special celebration. Myra questions Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) about why her birthday is being celebrated early, pointing out that the 17th is still some days away.

Abhira gently explains that she had missed celebrating Myra's birthdays in previous years. She recalls how she would quietly mark the day alone, baking a cake and buying gifts for Myra, keeping them aside with the hope that one day she would be able to give them to her.

Touched, Myra reveals that she has already seen all those gifts. Determined to make up for lost time, Abhira decides that this year, Myra's birthday will be celebrated with the entire family.

Meanwhile, Krish becomes increasingly restless about the secrets Abhira seems to be hiding. Driven by suspicion, he sneaks into Abhira's room to search for clues. His attempt almost gets exposed when a water bottle accidentally falls, alerting Sanjay. Sensing something amiss in Abhira and Armaan's room, Sanjay comes to investigate, forcing Krish to hide and narrowly escape being caught.

As Abhira excitedly begins planning Myra's birthday, she receives a call from a government office asking her to collect Anita's death certificate. Armaan notices her sudden tension and asks her about the call. Abhira lies, saying it was related to a client. Krish, however, overhears that Abhira plans to visit the government office and grows even more suspicious.

At the office, Abhira is informed that she must also submit Anita's birth certificate. Overwhelmed, she decides that she will finally tell Armaan the truth after Myra's birthday. Anxious about finding Anita's birth details, she approaches Vani for help.

Krish secretly overhears their conversation and realizes that Abhira knows very little about her so-called friend, which strengthens his belief that she has been lying about Vani. When Abhira catches him eavesdropping, she scolds him, but his doubts only deepen.

Later, Meher calls Armaan and asks him to attend a meeting along with Abhira. Around the same time, Krish apologizes to Armaan for his earlier behavior. When Armaan informs Abhira about Meher's request, Abhira firmly refuses and stops him from going.

Armaan then messages Meher that he will not be able to meet her. Krish overhears this entire exchange. Meher, on the other hand, is furious when she learns that Armaan has once again turned her down.

She asks Surekha to stop turning Charu into a point of comparison and competition. Manisha is impressed by Kiara's courage and maturity.

Back at home, Abhira plans a simple and intimate birthday celebration for Myra. While the preparations are underway, Vidya wonders if the low-key arrangement is because of Vani. Abhira clarifies that Myra's birthday is special and she wants her to enjoy a meaningful time with family rather than be overwhelmed by a crowd.

Vani, meanwhile, grows curious about her father and watches television thoughtfully. Armaan jokingly asks if her father might be an actor or a newsreader, which makes Vani visibly uncomfortable. Sensing her unease, Armaan reassures her and gently asks her to write her father's name. Vani hesitantly begins to do so, but Vidya intervenes, advising Armaan to give the child time until she feels ready to open up.

Just then, Meher and Mittal arrive at Armaan's house. Meher insists on organizing a grand birthday party for Myra and requests Armaan to give her a chance. Armaan refuses, firmly stating that only Abhira has the right to plan Myra's birthday. He shares how Abhira had been deprived of celebrating Myra's birthdays in the past and how important this moment is for her. Meher is deeply upset, while Mittal apologizes for disturbing them.
