Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Today Episode: In tonight's (January 17) episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Armaan (Rohit Purohit) is deeply shaken as Abhira's (Samridhii Shukla) accusation echoes in his mind. He wakes up restless and emotionally drained, his heart heavy with doubt and pain. Unable to stay in his room, he walks downstairs, lost in thought. Meanwhile, Abhira tries to console Myra and firmly tells her that Vani is not responsible for what happened.

However, Myra, still hurt over her ruined birthday, lashes out and says that everything went wrong because of Vani. She bluntly adds that Vani cannot be a good person, as ever since she entered their lives, Armaan and Abhira have been sad and in tears. Myra's harsh words leave Abhira stunned and speechless, realizing how deeply the situation has affected the child.

At the office, Mittal is taken aback when he sees Armaan arrive so early and in such a disturbed state. Without wasting time, Armaan asks him to get Meher to sign some important papers and then signs them himself. When Mittal inquires about the documents, Armaan reveals that he has decided to reopen Meher's case. He states firmly that Abhira would never level such serious accusations without having some truth behind them, and if she has doubts, he will stand by her and ensure that justice is served.

Unaware that Meher is listening from a distance, Armaan speaks about uncovering the truth. Enraged, Meher attempts to attack him, but the staff intervenes and restrains her before she can cause any harm. Armaan then questions Mittal about his sudden silence and stance. Mittal responds that he respects Armaan's principles and is ready to cooperate in reopening the case.

Armaan is surprised by this unexpected support. He makes it clear that he does not spare the guilty, and if Meher is proven responsible, he will never forgive her. Later, in a private moment, Meher confronts Mittal. He confesses that he is only pretending to support Armaan to gain his trust. He coldly warns that even if Armaan manages to find evidence, he still has the power to twist the situation and, if needed, destroy Armaan and the Poddar family.

ABHIRA DECIDES TO FLY KITS WITH VANI, MYRA HEARTS THEIR PLAN

Back at home, Kaveri tries to cheer up Myra by talking about flying kites for Makar Sankranti. Myra, however, refuses to celebrate, saying that how can there be a festival when Armaan and Abhira are so upset. Kaveri gently encourages her, suggesting that instead of sulking, she should try to bring Armaan and Abhira together so they can celebrate the festival as a family.

Armaan later meets Abhira and informs her that he has officially reopened Meher's case and that even the Mittals are cooperating. Abhira feels hopeful and believes that the truth will finally come out. However, Armaan, still wounded by what he sees as a betrayal of trust, harshly tells her that even if the truth is revealed, he cannot easily forgive her for doubting him.

The tension escalates when Krish accuses Abhira of lying to protect Vani. Armaan immediately steps in, exposes Krish's intentions, and sternly warns him not to drag Abhira into his manipulative games again.

Later, Myra brings Armaan his medicines and once again blames Vani for all the turmoil in the family. On the other hand, Abhira finds Vani missing her parents and comforts her. Wanting to bring some happiness into her life, Abhira decides to fly kites with her despite the tense atmosphere at home.
