Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update July 25: Maira-Mukti Not Talking To Each Other; What Will Abhira Do?

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Today Episode: Tonight's (July 25) episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins on an emotional note as Armaan (Rohit Purohit) notices that Maira has torn up her thesis despite all the hard work she had put into it. Surprised, he asks why she would destroy something that was so well written. Holding back her emotions, Maira admits that she feels her work is terrible and not good enough.

At the same time, Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) is consumed by guilt and tells Kaveri that she has failed as a mother. When Kaveri questions why she is being so harsh on herself, Abhira says Sanjay's words have made her realise the truth. Kaveri tries to reassure her and reminds her not to believe everything Sanjay says.

Meanwhile, Maira reveals the real reason behind her insecurity. She tells Armaan that although he might appreciate her thesis because he is her father, she believes it can never match Mukti's work. Armaan is stunned when Maira confesses that Vidya has repeatedly compared her with Mukti, making her feel as though she constantly has to prove herself. The constant comparisons have deeply affected Maira's confidence and pushed her into an unhealthy competition.

Abhira continues blaming herself for not noticing the emotional turmoil her daughter had been going through. She feels that if she had been a better mother, she would have recognised Maira's anxiety much earlier. Kaveri comforts her and urges her not to carry the entire burden alone. Elsewhere, Maira reflects on her behaviour and realises she had become so obsessed with winning that she lost sight of what truly mattered.

She regrets hurting Mukti and wonders when she changed so much. Looking at Armaan, she asks him why she became so competitive and admits that she genuinely wants to make things right. Although Abhira continues to question her abilities as a mother, Armaan stands firmly by her side and asks her to stop doubting herself. Kaveri encourages Armaan to continue supporting Abhira during this difficult phase.

Soon after, Maira gathers the courage to apologise to Mukti. Hoping to rebuild their friendship, she even offers her a chocolate and explains that she only checked Mukti's thesis because she was overwhelmed by pressure. However, Mukti is still deeply hurt and refuses to listen to her explanation. Their tense conversation is silently overheard by Kaveri and Vidya, who realise just how much distance has grown between the two girls.

On the other side of the family, Disha has a conversation with Mamta about the upcoming baby blessing ceremony. Curious about the custom, Disha asks why it is considered so important. Mamta explains that blessing the baby before birth is a cherished family tradition and says that because of Damyanti's presence, they cannot make any special demands from the Poddars.

The discussion then shifts to pregnancy cravings, with Disha asking Mamta to send her jamun. Mamta suggests she speak to Manisha first. Disha recalls Kajal warning her that overeating jamun could affect the baby's complexion, but Mamta dismisses the unnecessary worries and simply advises Disha to follow whatever the Poddar family decides.

Back at the Poddar house, Kaveri and Vidya decide that they must somehow reunite Maira and Mukti before their relationship deteriorates further. However, both girls remain upset and refuse to speak to each other. Kaveri remains hopeful that time will heal the rift, but Vidya makes a shocking remark, saying that Maira and Mukti are not blood sisters. Unfortunately, Mukti overhears the conversation, leaving her visibly shaken and emotionally disturbed.

Determined to become more involved in her daughters' lives, Abhira decides to work from home so she can spend more time with them and understand what they are going through. Instead of appreciating her decision, Sanjay makes a sarcastic remark, questioning why women go to work if they eventually have to stay at home. Kajal immediately shuts him down and reminds him that he constantly criticises Abhira while completely ignoring everything she does for the family. Her words leave Sanjay speechless.

Towards the end of the episode, Maira apologises to Abhira for hiding her emotional struggles for so long. Mukti also apologises for not telling Abhira earlier about Maira's growing anxiety and insecurities. As both girls express their guilt, Abhira finally realises that there is a much deeper issue affecting Maira and Mukti's relationship than she initially believed. Determined to heal her family, she prepares to uncover the truth and mend the bond between her daughters.
