Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Today Episode: Tonight's (July 9) episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Sanjay entering his bedroom and immediately sensing that something is wrong. Looking around carefully, he notices that the pillows have been moved and the table is no longer in its original position. Suspicious, he asks Kajal if anyone entered their room while he was away.

Kajal dismisses his concerns, wondering why anyone would secretly enter their room, and reminds him that the entire family was busy supporting Manisha after the court case. However, Sanjay remains convinced that someone searched through his belongings. Just then, he receives a mysterious late-night message asking him to meet, leaving him even more puzzled.

Meanwhile, Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) confronts Sanjay and demands that he open a locked drawer. Surprised by her confidence, Sanjay questions why she has called him there in the middle of the night. Abhira reveals that Armaan (Rohit Purohit) told her that only Sanjay possesses the key to the drawer. Left with no option, Sanjay unlocks it. Abhira immediately pulls out the Malhotra case file, exposing the truth behind his recent defeat in court.

She accuses Sanjay of deliberately taking the wrong file to court and attempting to take advantage of Manisha's fragile condition. Sanjay is shocked that Abhira knows everything and asks who told her. Calmly, Abhira says she already knows the complete truth. When Sanjay warns that exposing him could have serious consequences, Abhira confidently replies that she will reveal everything - but only when the right time comes.

Elsewhere, Armaan receives a surprising phone call from Malhotra, who tells him that he has completely lost faith in the Poddar law firm after Sanjay's careless handling of the case. Malhotra offers Armaan an opportunity to represent him instead. Unsure about the decision, Armaan discusses the proposal with Abhira.

While Abhira worries that accepting the case will further provoke Sanjay, Armaan believes they should stop worrying about the Poddars or the Bansals because neither family considers them their own anymore. Determined to build their independent identity, the couple decides to accept Malhotra's offer.

At the swimming pool, Disha tries to encourage Manisha by bringing her swimming goggles and a cap. However, Manisha refuses any help, still struggling emotionally after everything that has happened. At the same time, Sanjay urges Kaveri to personally convince Malhotra not to leave the Poddar firm. Hoping to save the family's reputation, Kaveri agrees to meet him.

Unable to control his anger, Sanjay creates a public scene inside the café. His aggressive behaviour becomes so disruptive that the café manager decides to call the police. Krish quickly steps in, calms Sanjay down, apologises to everyone on his behalf, and manages to prevent the situation from getting worse before taking him away.

Back at the Poddar firm, Kaveri becomes increasingly anxious about its future. Seeing the deteriorating condition of the once-prestigious office, Armaan and Abhira decide they cannot simply stand by and watch everything collapse. Although they have distanced themselves from the family, they choose to help Kaveri save the firm. Soon, Madhav arrives after seeing news reports about the firm's troubles. He checks on Kaveri, Armaan, and Abhira, expressing concern for their well-being.

The atmosphere grows heavier when Ashutosh bluntly states that because of Sanjay's repeated mistakes, the Poddar law firm may soon shut down permanently. Kaveri is devastated by the possibility. Krish explains that unless Sanjay wins his next major case, the firm's financial losses will only worsen.

Overwhelmed by guilt, pressure, and disappointment, Kaveri asks everyone, including Armaan, Abhira, Krish, and Madhav, to leave her alone. She locks herself inside a room, unable to face anyone. Worried about her emotional state, Abhira decides she cannot leave Kaveri alone and prepares to open the locked door.

In another emotional storyline, Disha tells Aryan that she genuinely wants to help Armaan and Abhira and make amends for her past mistakes. However, Aryan remains deeply hurt and refuses to forgive her. He reminds Disha that she falsely accused Armaan and caused immense damage to his life, making it impossible for him to trust her again.
