Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Today Episode: Tonight's (March 14) episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Disha respectfully touching Kaveri's feet as a mark of greeting and tradition. Damyanti subtly signals Disha, prompting her to pull the veil over her head. Soon after, Damyanti apologizes to the Poddar family for any inconvenience.

Manisha tries to lighten the situation by saying that they are modern people who usually wear modern outfits, but Damyanti remarks that the only modern dress she can see is Manisha's. Realizing the comment is directed at her, Manisha quickly covers herself, creating an awkward moment.

The Poddar family warmly welcomes Disha and her family into their home. However, Damyanti cannot resist taunting them when she notices that they are serving cheese along with lemon water. Disha's father politely requests that they serve lemon water instead, explaining that their family follows traditional customs.

Interestingly, Disha's family appreciates the lemon water, but Armaan (Rohit Puroit) begins to wonder about the sudden change in the refreshments. He recalls that Manisha had asked for coffee to be served earlier and quickly realizes that the switch to lemon water must have been Abhira's (Samridhii Shukla) decision.

Meanwhile, Armaan asks Aryan and Disha to share the story of how they first met. Aryan begins by saying they met at a wedding and almost reveals that they were accidentally locked together at that event. Sensing the situation might become embarrassing, Disha quickly signals Aryan to stop. Aryan then changes the story and casually says they simply met at a wedding and spent time playing games together.

The conversation continues as Manisha teasingly asks Damyanti whether she carries a priest with her everywhere. Damyanti proudly responds that most of the time she does. Manisha then asks about the wedding date for Aryan and Disha. At this moment, Damyanti turns her attention to Armaan and asks about his wife. Aryan tries to cover the truth by saying that Arman's wife is currently out of the city.

Armaan immediately questions Aryan about why he is lying and warns that such lies cannot last long. Meanwhile, Manoj steps in and says that Abhira is unwell. Tanya adds that Abhira has caught a cold and therefore could not come. However, Damyanti firmly declares that until she meets Armaan's wife herself, there will be no discussion about Aryan and Disha's alliance. She becomes determined to meet Abhira.

Elsewhere, Abhira is seen trying to leave the house in distress. While attempting to escape, she almost falls, but Armaan arrives just in time and saves her. Holding onto him, Abhira asks Armaan not to let go of her hand, and he reassures her that he never will. Armaan then asks her where she was going.

Abhira admits that she was trying to run away. Armaan explains that Disha's family wants to meet his wife and that he does not want to force her into doing anything that makes her uncomfortable. However, Abhira firmly says that she is indeed uncomfortable and refuses to pretend to be his wife in front of Disha's family.

ABHIRA AGREES TO ACT AS ARMAAN'S WIFE IN FRONT OF DISHA'S DADI

Back at the gathering, the Poddars assume that Abhira will not come. Manisha worries that Aryan's heart will break because of Manoj's actions. Manoj explains that he lied only to protect Aryan. Sanjay adds that since Abhira has been insulted, she will definitely refuse to come. However, Tanya insists that they are underestimating Abhira's goodness and understanding. Just then, Kaveri and the rest of the family are shocked to see Abhira entering the house with Armaan.

On the way there, Abhira recalls Armaan telling her about Damyanti's ultimatum - that if he does not bring his wife to meet them, she will refuse to finalize Aryan and Disha's alliance. Although Armaan feels guilty that Aryan might suffer heartbreak, he promises to handle the situation. Moved by Aryan's happiness and the family's situation, Abhira finally decides to step in and pretend to be Arman's wife for Aryan's sake.

Aryan and Disha are relieved and happy when they see Abhira arrive. Damyanti immediately begins questioning Abhira, asking if she is happy in her marital home. Abhira responds cleverly and diplomatically, leaving Damyanti momentarily satisfied. Damyanti then asks whether the Poddar family supports their daughter-in-law. Abhira confidently replies that if a husband stands by his wife, she can overcome anything in life.

At the same time, Armaan and Abhira silently recall their complicated past and unresolved emotions. Abhira tells Armaan that she understands the value of true love. Just because she could not receive it herself, she says, does not mean Aryan should be deprived of it too.

Damyanti then makes a big announcement - Aryan and Disha's wedding will take place in just seven days. To mark the occasion, she asks Armaan and Abhira to feed sweets to each other as a symbolic gesture of their relationship. The moment becomes awkward as both of them hesitate.

Soon after, Vidya pulls Armaan aside for a private conversation. She reminds him that he has started this husband-wife drama himself and questions what he plans to do when Maira eventually arrives at the wedding. Armaan is left completely perplexed, realizing that the situation he has created may soon spiral out of control.
