Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update March 16: Meher Ready To Spoil Aryan’s Wedding To Separate AbhiMaan

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Today Episode: Tonight's (March 16) episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Meher watching a video of Armaan (Rohit Purohit) and Abhira (Samridhii Shukla), which clearly disturbs her. Seeing the closeness between them once again makes her uneasy and insecure.

Krish notices that Meher looks upset and immediately asks her what is bothering her. Meher confesses that she feels Armaan is slowly getting emotionally attached to Abhira again, something she cannot tolerate. The thought of losing Armaan makes her restless, and she decides that she must take action before things go further.

Krish tries to calm her down and advises her to wait at least until Aryan's wedding is over before creating any trouble. However, Meher refuses to listen. She stubbornly insists that Armaan belongs to her and declares that she is ready to go to any extent to get him back. Her obsession grows stronger as she decides that if ruining Aryan's wedding is what it takes to stop Armaan and Abhira from coming closer, she will not hesitate to do so.

Meanwhile, Meher calls Maira and invites her to Aryan's wedding. Maira is hesitant and asks Meher if it would really be appropriate for her to come because Armaan might not approve of it. Meher confidently assures her that she will handle Armaan and convince him somehow. She even adds that Maira's presence will double the entertainment at the wedding, hinting that something dramatic might happen.

At the same time, Maira comes up with her own plan. She decides to invite Mukti and her mother as well, hoping that this gathering might help reunite their parents. Mukti, however, questions Maira about whether Abhira would even agree to attend her uncle's wedding. Maira believes it could be a perfect opportunity and insists that things might work out if Abhira comes.

Soon after, Mukti learns that Abhira has come to meet her. She asks Maira to meet her mother as well. When Mukti meets Abhira, she invites her to Aryan's wedding. Abhira immediately refuses, saying she is not free. Mukti, however, continues to insist and pushes her to reconsider. Frustrated, Abhira asks Mukti why she is forcing her so much.

Mukti then reveals that she and Maira have been thinking about bringing Abhira and Armaan together again. Hearing this, Abhira reacts strongly. She tells Mukti to stop interfering and instead focus on her studies. Mukti tries to explain that both Abhira and Armaan are lonely and that there is nothing wrong with them finding happiness together again.

ABHIRA REJECTS MAIRA-MUKTI'S IDEA TO REUNITE HER WITH ARMAAN

Abhira firmly denies this idea and says she is happy with her life as it is and does not need anyone. She also reminds Mukti that marriages are decided by fate and cannot be planned by others. Upset by Mukti's interference, Abhira scolds her.

Elsewhere, Armaan walks into the kitchen looking for something. Kajal notices him and asks what he is searching for. Vidya comments bitterly that the person he is looking for left him long ago for a stranger. Her words clearly hint at Abhira, leaving Armaan silent and emotionally affected. Unable to respond, he quietly leaves the place.

Later, Mukti begins to understand Abhira's feelings and decides not to push her further. However, she still requests that Abhira at least meet Maira once. Abhira gently refuses again, saying that the time is not right for such a meeting. Instead, she asks Mukti to share ice cream with Maira because Maira loves it.

Abhira adds that children usually love ice cream and advises Mukti once again to concentrate on her studies. Meanwhile, Myra walks through the corridor, unaware that Abhira is watching her from afar. Abhira silently admires Maira but chooses to keep her distance.

Later, Maira asks Mukti what her mother said. Mukti reveals that Abhira refused to attend the wedding and even scolded her for suggesting the idea of bringing her and Armaan together. Maira is shocked to hear this. Realizing the situation is more complicated than they thought, Mukti and Maira decide to stay back at the hostel and focus on preparing for their upcoming exams.

In another scene, the Poddar family gathers together and shows Aryan's picture to Disha. When Abhira sees the family enjoying time together, she quietly decides to leave. Manisha notices her and asks her to join them. Abhira hesitates and says that since the entire family is together, she feels like she does not belong there anymore. However, Kaveri and Manisha insist that she stay with them.

Soon, Disha starts laughing loudly. She jokingly mentions that Damyanti had earlier asked her not to laugh so loudly. Hearing this, Abhira also bursts into loud laughter. Gradually, Manisha, Kajal, Tanya, and Kaveri join in, creating a cheerful moment. At the same time, Armaan reflects on the past.
