Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Today Episode: Tonight's (May 8) episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai brings high drama, emotional breakdowns, and shocking betrayals as Armaan (Rohit Purohit) faces a major setback in both his professional and personal life. The episode begins on an unusual note as Armaan notices something missing from his cabin - his certificates and pictures with Maira.

Confused and unsettled, he decides to focus on an important meeting first before heading to Abhira's (Samridhii Shukla) counselling session.

However, things take a shocking turn when Armaan reaches the board meeting. He is stunned to see Mittal present there. Armaan clearly states that after everything that happened, he cannot work with Shri Hariram Mittal. But the situation quickly spirals out of control when Krish hands him a termination letter.

Armaan is left speechless and demands answers, questioning how such a decision was taken without his knowledge. Mittal confidently reveals that Armaan has already been officially removed. He claims that notices were sent earlier, and Sanjay and Krish have already signed them.

This leaves Armaan completely shaken as he feels deeply betrayed by people he trusted the most. The situation worsens when other board members also support the decision against him. In a moment of emotional anger, Armaan confronts Sanjay and Krish, calling out their betrayal. Mittal continues to provoke him, but Armaan loses control and slaps him, stating that he knows how to fight face-to-face, not by backstabbing others.

On the other hand, Abhira waits for Armaan at the counselling session. When he fails to arrive on time, the counsellor suggests continuing the session alone, but Abhira refuses, saying she will not deal with personal issues without Armaan. She continues waiting, unaware of the storm he is facing.

ABHIRA TAKES A STRONG STAND FOR ARMAAN

Later, Armaan finally reaches Abhira in a broken state and reveals everything that happened. He emotionally says it feels like the universe is punishing him for hurting her in the past. Abhira immediately comforts him, reassuring him that he is a good person. Armaan also expresses guilt, saying Abhira is too kind to seek revenge, so maybe fate is doing it on her behalf.

Their emotional moment is interrupted when Vidya steps in. Meanwhile, Krish and Sanjay discuss the situation, while Abhira struggles to speak with Armaan, who asks to be left alone. Vidya also advises her to give him space.

Later, Abhira takes a strong stand in front of the family, revealing that Sanjay and Krish have removed Armaan from the firm. Tanya, Kajal, Manoj, and Abhira strongly oppose their decision, while Sanjay defends it by claiming it was necessary to protect the business from Mittal. However, Vidya lashes out at both of them for betraying Armaan.
