Aay Story

Aay is a Telugu romantic comedy entertainer movie directed by Anji Kanchipalli. The movie casts Narne Nithiin and Nayan Sarika in the main lead roles. The music was composed by Ram Miriyala while the cinematography was done by Sameer Kalyani and it is edited by Kodati Pavan Kalyan. The film is produced by Bunny Vas & Vidya Koppineedi under GA2 Pictures banner.

Story

Karthik (Narne Nithin), a software engineer working in Hyderabad, returns to his hometown Amalaapuram to work from home during the COVID-19 pandemic. There, he instantly falls in love with Pallavi (Nayan Sarika) at first sight. As Pallavi reciprocates his feelings, their love story blossoms in a light-hearted and joyful manner. However, complications arise when Pallavi's father, Durga (Mime Madhu), who values caste above all else, arranges her marriage with a boy from their own caste. When Karthik and his two friends (Ankith Koya, Kasireddy Rajkumar) propose eloping, Pallavi rejects the idea.

The film explores how Pallavi, despite her father's obsession with caste, accepts Karthik's love proposal, the challenges they face, and Durga's reaction upon discovering his daughter's love for a boy from a different caste. The story also delves into the dramatic events that unfold when Karthik’s father attempts to stop Pallavi's arranged marriage on the wedding day. The movie ultimately answers whether Durga forgives Karthik’s father and whether Karthik and Pallavi’s love triumphs and leads to marriage.
