Barabar Premistha Story

Barabar Premistha is an upcoming Telugu romantic action entertainer film directed by Sampath Rudra. The film stars Chandra Hass and Megna Mukharjee in the lead roles, with Arjun Mahi (Ishtamgaa Fame), Murali Goud, Madhunandhan, Meesala Laxman, Abainaveen, Rajashekar, Rajamouli, Keerthi Latha Goud, Suneetha Manohar, and several other notable actors appearing in supporting roles. The music for the movie is composed by RR Dhruvan, while the cinematography is handled by YR Sekhar, and the editing is done by Bonthala Nageswar Reddy. The film is jointly produced by Geda Chandu, Gayatri Chinni, and Venkateswar Rao under the CC Creations and AVR Movie Wonders banners.

Story

In the village of Rudraram, long-standing hostility exists between two rival communities, Karmani and Dharmani, driven by caste-based dominance and power struggles. Amid this tense atmosphere, Chandu (Chandra Hass) from the Karmani group and Bujjamma (Meghna Mukharjee) from the Dharmani group develop a relationship that begins with playful arguments and gradually turns into love. Aware that their bond is risky due to deep-rooted caste rivalries, the couple decides to escape to Kerala and get married. However, at the crucial moment when Chandu is about to tie the wedding knot, Bujjamma unexpectedly refuses to go ahead with the marriage.

What caused the decades-old caste rivalry between the two groups? What kind of political enmity existed between Chandu’s and Bujjamma’s fathers? Despite knowing the dangers, why did Bujjamma fall in love with Chandu? Why was the decision to marry in Kerala suddenly called off? Did the caste conflicts of Rudraram stand in the way of their love forever, or did Chandu and Bujjamma manage to break social barriers and unite? The answers to these questions form the core of Barabar Premistha.
