Buddy Story
Buddy is a Telugu action comedy entertainer movie directed by Sam Anton. The film casts Allu Sirish and Prisha Rajesh Singh in the main lead roles along with Ajmal Amir, Mukeshkumar, Ali, and many others who have been seen in supporting roles. The music was composed by Hiphop Tamizha while the cinematography was done by Krishnan Vasant and it is edited by Ruben. The film is produced by K.E. Gnanavelraja & Aadhana Gnanavelraja under the Studio Green Films banner.
Buddy is an official remake of the Tamil movie Teddy.
Story
Aditya Ram works as a pilot at the Vizag airport. Pallavi (Gayatri Bharadwaj) joins as an air traffic controller. On her first day at work, she faces difficulties with a flight landing, and Aditya helps her, leading to a friendship between them. Despite never seeing each other, Aditya and Pallavi develop feelings for one another. One day, as Pallavi is on her way to meet Aditya, she is kidnapped by Kabir's (Ajmal Ameer) gang and taken to Hong Kong.
Why did Kabir's gang kidnap Pallavi? Why was she taken to Hong Kong? Who is Kabir? What is the connection between Pallavi and the teddy bear? Why does the teddy bear want to protect Pallavi? Did Aditya go to Hong Kong to rescue Pallavi from Kabir's captivity? What plans did Aditya make to go to Hong Kong? Did Aditya manage to thwart Kabir's mafia activities? The answers to these questions form the story of the movie "Buddy."
