Cinema Bandi Story
Cinema Bandi is a comedy entertainer movie written and directed by debutant Praveen Kandregula. The movie casts Vikas Vasistha, Sandeep Varanasi, Rag Mayur, Trishara, Munivenkatapa, Uma Yg, Sirivennela Yanamandhala, Sindhu Sreenivasa Murthy are in the lead roles. The Music composed by Satyavolu Sirish while cinematography done by Apporva Shaligram, Sagar Y. V. V and it is edited by Kakarla Dharmendra, Girijala Raviteja. The film is produced by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. under D2R Indie banner.
Plot
Veera Babu (Vikas Vishishta) is an auto driver in a village called Gollapalli on the border of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. Veerababu, who makes his living driving an auto, finds a large camera in a black bag in his car. At first he wants to sell the camera and solve his family's problems. But he changes his mind and decides to make a film. In that sequence he shares his thoughts with Ganapathi (Sandeep Varanasi), the only photographer in town. With that, the film starts with Veerababu as the director and Ganapati as the cinematographer.
What were the problems faced by Veerababu in his attempt to make a film? What were the difficulties of selecting his hometown cast for his film? What were the creative differences between Veerababu and Ganapathi who became a cinematographer? As a producer and director, Veerababu faced what kind of difficulties from the villagers. Did Veerababu achieve his goal of making a film in this order? Did those who lost the camera get it?
