Committee Kurrollu Story

Committee Kurrollu is a Telugu drama movie directed by Yadhu Vamsi. The movie casts Sandeep Saroj, Yaswanth Pendyala, Eshwar Rachiraju, Trinadh Varma, Prasad Behara, Manikanta Parasu, Lokesh Kumar Parimi, Shyam Kalyan, Raghuvaran, Shiva Kumar Matta, Akshay Srinivas, Raadhya, Tejaswi Rao, Teena Sravya, Vishika, and Shanmukhi Nagumanthri in the main lead roles along with Sai Kumar, Goparaju Ramana, Sri Lakshmi, and many others have seen in supporting roles. The music was composed by Anudeep Dev while the cinematography was done by Raju Edurolu and it is edited by Anwar Ali. The film is produced by Padmaja Konidela and Jayalakshmi Adapaka under Pink Elephant Pictures and Shree Radha Damodar Studios banners.

Story

The story is set in a village called Purushattapalli in West Godavari district and revolves around a political conflict between the younger and older generations. Every year, during a local festival dedicated to a goddess, a group of friends Surya (Yashwant Pendyala), William (Eshwar Rachi Raju), and Subbu (Trinadh Varma) encounters a series of unfortunate events due to certain actions taken by Narasimha and Shiva.

The story also explores the life of Sattayya (Kishore Kumar), who has suffered a great loss, and the long-standing sarpanch of the village, Bujji (Sai Kumar). The young man Shiva challenges Bujji for the sarpanch position, leading to a fierce political rivalry. The film delves into the chaos caused by this group in the village, the role of the elder (YouTube fame Prasad Behara), and how the group of youngsters became the village committee. Amidst all this, the story also touches on the message about caste issues and the efforts made by these young men to restart the halted village festival and participate in the elections.
