COURT - 'State vs A Nobody' is a Telugu courtroom drama thriller movie directed by Ram Jagadeesh. The movie casts Priyadarshi, Harsh Roshan, and Sri Devi in the main lead roles along with Sivaji, Sai Kumar, Rohini, Harshavardhan, and many others seen in supporting roles. The music was composed by Vijai Bulganin while the cinematography was done by Dinesh Purushothaman and it is edited by Karthika Srinivas R. The film is produced by Nani and  Prashanti Tipirneni under Wall Poster Cinema banner.

Story

Chandu (Roshan) is a young man from a modest financial background who works a small job to make ends meet. In the same village, Mangapati (Shivaji), a highly respected yet short-tempered village elder, is known for his strict views on morality and discipline. His daughter-in-law, Jabili (Sridevi), falls for Chandu at first sight. However, when Mangapati discovers their budding romance, he is unable to tolerate it. Fearing that this affair will bring shame to his family, he falsely accuses Chandu under the POCSO Act and has him arrested.

What is Chandu’s family background? How does Chandu react to Jabili’s proposal? How does their love story unfold? What happens when Mangapati learns about their relationship? After Chandu is charged under the POCSO Act, what efforts are made to prove his innocence? Why does junior lawyer Teja (Priyadarshi) take up Chandu’s case?
