Story
Radio artist Gaali Sampath (Rajendra Prasad) loves theater plays indescribably. In an accident, he loses his strong voice for his life and becomes a dumb airman. After the untimely death of his wife, he lives for his son Soori (Sri Vishnu). Soori is planning to buy a truck in Araku and make a happy living. During this sequence Soori falls in love with village Sarpanch's daughter Papa (Lovely Singh). However, Soori is upset that his marriage has been disrupted due to his father. Angered at his father, he yells at him to leave the house. Angered by his son's behavior, Gaali Sampath accidentally falls into an empty well in front of the house.
How did Gaali Sampath, who earned the name of Radio Maamaya become dumb? Why he take care his son Soori so much. Soori's love and marriage were hampered by the Gaali Sampath. What is the condition of the Gaali Sampath resources in the well? How did Soori's misconception about his father disappear? Did Suri win his love with Papa?
