Guru movie is a official remake of Hindi movie Saala Khadoos and it is a action sports drama written and directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad and produced by S. Sashikanth while Santhosh Narayanan scored music for this movie

Victory Venkatesh playing the leading role as a boxing coach. Two professional boxers from a boxing academy, Ritika Singh and Mumtaz Sorcar, who has done films in Bengali, were signed to play the two female leads.
