Idi Prema Katha Kadu is a bilingual movie being made in Telugu and Hindi versions. Bollywood actress Mahi Gill is roped in for the role of Maria Susai Raj while other casts are yet to be finalized.

Idi Prema Katha Kadu is based on a real life incident that took place in May 7th, 2008, in Mumbai. It is based on the sensational murder case of a person by a lady Maria Susai Raj and her lover. How and Why he was brutally killed will be shown in the film.
