Kalinga Story

Kalinga is a Telugu fantasy horror thriller movie directed by Dhruva Vaayu. The movie casts Dhruva Vaayu and Pragya Nayan in the main lead roles along with Adukalam Naren,Laxman Meesala, Thanikella Bharani, Shiju AR, Muralidhar Goud, Sammeta Gandhi, Preeti Sundar Kumar, Balgam Sudhakar, Prardhini, Sanjay Krishna, Harishchandra, and many others have seen in supporting roles. The songs were composed by Vishnu Sekhara and Anantha Narayanan Ag while background music done by Vishnu Sekhara. The cinematography was done by Akshay Ram Podishetti and it is edited by Naresh Venuvanka. The film is produced by Deepthi Kondaveeti and Pruthivi Yadav under Big Hit Productions banners.

Story

In the village of Kalinga, there is a long-standing belief that anyone who crosses the boundary of the village never returns. Lingaa (Dhruva Vahyu), a carefree man, roams around as a local troublemaker, living a reckless life filled with alcohol and no responsibilities. He falls in love with and marries a young woman named Padmavati, also known as Paddhu.

Lingaa's family land is controlled by the village head (Adukalam Naren), who in turn offers Lingaa a piece of land beyond the village boundary in exchange for his family property. Determined to claim his land, Lingaa crosses the forbidden boundary.

The film "Kalinga" unravels mysteries like why people who cross the boundary never return, what wealth from the Kalinga kingdom is hidden there, and the incidents that surround the search for this treasure. It also explores the experiences Lingaa faces after crossing the boundary and whether he successfully claims the treasure from the Kalinga empire. These questions and more are answered in this gripping story.
