Liger Story
Liger is a romantic sports action film movie directed by Puri Jagannadh. The movie casts Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday in the lead roles along with Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Ali, Makarand Deshpande, Shah Emtiaj, Vishu Reddy, Srinu Boddupalli, Abdul Quadir Amin, and many others are seen in supporting roles. The music was composed by Sunil Kashyap, Vikram Montrose, Tanishk Bagchi, and Lijo George-DJ Chetas while cinematography is done by Vishnu Sarma and edited by Junaid Siddiqui. The film is produced by Karan Johar, Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Apoorva Mehta, and Hiroo Yash Johar under Dharma Productions, Puri Connects banners.
American former professional boxer Mike Tyson done an extended cameo appearance in this movie.
Story
Balamani (Ramya Krishnan) from Karimnagar wants her son Liger (Vijay Devarakonda) to become a mixed martial arts champion. Liger worships martial arts champion, Mark Anderson. Balamani brings Liger to a martial arts coach in Mumbai (Ronit Roy). During this time, Tanya (Ananya Pandey) falls in love with Liger at first sight. However, she rejects Liger's love for some reason. A mafia don kidnaps Tanya after she breaks up with Liger.
Balamani named her son Liger for a reason. What made Liger a martial arts champion? What was the reason for Tanya's rejection of Liger's love? What happened to Liger after he broke up with Tanya?
