Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam Story

Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam is a Telugu comedy entertainer movie directed by Lakshman Karya. The movie casts Rao Ramesh, Ankith Koyya, and Ramya Pasupuleti in the main lead roles along with Indraja, Harsha Vardhan, Annapurnama, Ajay, and many others have seen in supporting roles. The music was composed by Kalyan Nayak while the cinematography was done by MN Balreddy and it is edited by Bonthala Nageswara Reddy. The film is produced by Bujji Rayudu Pentyala and Mohan Karya under PBR Cinemas and Lokamaatre Cinematics banners.

Story

Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam revolves around the life of Subramanyam, who was selected for a teaching job by the DSP in 1998. However, his hopes are dashed when a court stay prevents him from receiving the position. Disheartened, Subramanyam becomes dependent on his wife, Kalarani (Indraja), for financial support. Despite facing numerous humiliations, he refuses to take up another job.

Their son, Arjun (Ankit Koya), is embarrassed by his father's situation and tells others that his father is the renowned producer Allu Aravind. Arjun falls in love with his childhood friend Kanchana (Ramya Pasupuleti). Meanwhile, Subramanyam's life takes an unexpected turn when 1 million rupees are suddenly deposited into his bank account.

The story unfolds as it explores why Subramanyam, despite not getting the teaching job, lives for over 25 years without any employment and continues to rely on his wife’s earnings. It also delves into Arjun's false claims about his father being Allu Aravind and his brother being Allu Arjun. The narrative traces how Arjun falls in love with Kanchana and the reaction of her father Bhaskar (Harshavardhan) when Arjun proposes marriage at first sight.
