Mayuri is biographical dance movie written and directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao and produced by Ramoji Rao while S.P. Balasubrahmanyam scored music for this movie. This film is based on the real-life story of Sudha Chandran.
Sudha Chandran played the title role along with Veeramachaneni, P. L. Narayana, Nirmalamma, Suthi Veerabhadra Rao, Y. Vijaya, Chakri Toleti, Subbaruju, Potti Prasad are played the supporting roles in this movie.
This film won 14 Nandi Awards the most by any other Telugu film.
