Okato Number Kurraadu is a romantic based movie in which, Swapna (Rekha) comes from a traditional family and her father (Tanikella Bharani) hates the word 'love'.
He raises his daughter with strict family values. Swapna is sent to Vizag city to complete her graduation. There she encounters Balu (Taaraka Rathnaa), a happy-go-lucky guy with a heart of gold. Though she has liking towards him, love is a big no for her, as she wants to stick to the promise she made to her parents.
Rest of the story is about how she express her love with Balu.
