Patang Story

Patang is a Telugu romantic entertainer movie directed by Praneeth Prattipati. The movie casts Pranav Kaushik, Preethi Pagadala, and Vamsi Pujit in the main lead roles, along with Anu Hasan, SP Charan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and many others have seen in supporting roles. The music was composed by Jose Jimm,y while the cinematography was done by Shakthi Arvind, and it is edited by Chanakya Reddy Toorupu. The film is jointly produced by Vijay Sekhar Anne, Sampath Maka, and Suresh Reddy Kothinti under A Naani Bandreddi Production banner.

Story

Vijay Krishna, also known as Whisky (Vamsi Pujith), comes from a poor family, while Arun (Pranav Kaushik) belongs to a wealthy household. Despite their different backgrounds, the two have been inseparable childhood friends, sharing a bond that begins in school and grows so strong that they are willing to sacrifice their lives for each other. Their unbreakable friendship takes a dramatic turn with the entry of Aishwarya (Preethi Pagadala) into their lives.

Initially, Aishwarya develops a romantic relationship with Whisky, but later she changes her mind and falls in love with Arun. This shift creates deep misunderstandings and intense conflicts between the once-close friends, eventually leading to their separation. The rivalry escalates when Whisky and Arun agree to a kite-flying competition, with Aishwarya’s love becoming the ultimate prize.

What incidents strengthened Whisky and Arun’s friendship in the first place? How did their bond evolve from childhood to their teenage years? How did Aishwarya fall in love with Whisky, and why did she grow closer to Arun while still being in a relationship with him?
