Raakaasaa Story

Raakaasaa is an upcoming Telugu Horror fantasy-comedy film directed by Manasa Sharma. The film stars Sangeeth Shobhan and Nayan Sarika in the lead roles, with Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Ashish Vidyarthi, Getup Srinu, Sukhwinder Singh, Anoop Singh, Vasu Inturi, Rohini, Rohan Roy, and several other notable actors appearing in supporting roles. The music for the movie is composed by Anudeep Dev, while the cinematography is handled by Raju Edurolu, and the editing is done by Anwar Ali. The film is produced by Niharika Konidela and Umesh Kumar Bansal under the Pink Elephant Pictures & Zee Studios banners.

Story

Veerababu, also known as Eerababu (Sangeeth Shobhan), returns to his native village from America in search of his lover Sukanya. However, when he fails to reunite with her, he gradually falls in love with Subbalakshmi (Nayan Sarika). But his life takes an unexpected turn when he gets entangled in the murder case of Somu (Vennela Kishore).

Holding Veerababu responsible for the murder, the village head (Brahmaji) and the villagers decide to sacrifice him by sending him into an ancient fort, which they believe is haunted by a demon living inside.

Did Veerababu really encounter a demon after entering the fort? What is the flashback behind the demon’s presence in that ancient fort? Why was he unable to win back Sukanya? How did he fall in love with his childhood friend Subbalakshmi? What happens to Veerababu after he enters the ruined fort? Is there really a demon inside the fort? Did Veerababu destroy the demon in the end?

The answers to all these questions form the story of Raakaasaa.
