Sarangapani Jathakam Story

Sarangapani Jathakam is a Telugu comedy entertainer movie directed by Mohanakrishna Indraganti. The movie casts Priyadarshi and Roopa Koduvayur in the main lead roles along with VK Naresh, Tanikella Bharani, Avasarala Srinivas, Vennela Kishore, Viva Harsha, Sivannarayana, Ashok Kumar, Raja Chembolu, Vadlamani Srinivas, Pradeep Rudra, Ramesh Reddy, Kalpalatha, Roopa Lakshmi, Harshini, KLK Mani, 'IMAX' Venkat, and many others have seen in supporting roles. The music was composed by Vivek Sagar while the cinematography was done by PG Vinda and it is edited by Marthand K Venkatesh. The film is produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under Sridevi Movies banner.

Story

Sarangapani (Priyadarshi) works as a car salesman and is obsessed with astrology. He doesn’t do anything without first checking his horoscope each morning. He falls deeply in love with his colleague Mythili (Roopa Koduvayur), who also works at the same company. The two not only confess their love to their families but also prepare to get married.

However, when astrologer Jigneshwar (Srinivas Avasarala) checks Sarangapani’s horoscope, he makes a shocking prediction that Sarangapani will commit a murder in his lifetime. Panicked by this forecast, Sarangapani decides to get it over with before his marriage. Along with his friend Chandu (Vennela Kishore), he begins plotting to commit a murder.

How did Sarangapani and Chandu go about searching for someone to kill? When Sarangapani says he wants to postpone the wedding, how do Mythili’s parents (VK Naresh and Rupalakshmi) and his own parents (Srinivasa Rao and Kalpalatha) react? What hurdles does he face in his attempts to carry out the murder? How does the murder attempt eventually unfold? Does he end up marrying Mythili? And most importantly through all the chaos and comical experiences, does Sarangapani finally get over his astrology obsession? The film Sarangapani Jathakam answers all these questions in a humorous way.
