Shekar Story
Shekar is a remake version of the Malayalam movie Joseph and it is a thriller drama movie directed by Jeevitha Rajaseskhar. The movie casts Dr. Rajashekar in the title role. The music was composed by Anup Rubens while the cinematography was done by Mallikarjuna Naragani. The film is jointly produced by Beeram Sudhakara Reddy, Shivani Rajashekar, Shivathmika Rajashekar, and Boggaram Venkata Srinivas under Pegasus Cinecorp, Taurus Cinecorp, Sudhakar Impex IPL, Tripura Creations banners.
Story
Shekhar (Rajasekhar) is a committed and honest officer in the Police Department. He loves Kinnera (Muskan) more than his life but he is unable to get married for some reason. Kinnera is brutally murdered while he was living happily with his wife Indu (Atmiya Rajan) and daughter Geeta (Shivani Rajasekhar). For this reason, he becomes addicted to alcohol. Because of that, the wife stays away from him. Under such circumstances, the wife and daughter die in a state of suspicion. He resigns from his job due to the tragedies that befell his life.
Why does Shekhar, who has resigned, work with the police department? Who was responsible for Kinner's murder? How did his daughter and wife die? What was the cause behind his family's deaths? How did Shekhar investigate the suspicions surrounding the deaths of his wife and daughter? The story of Shekhar's movie is the answer to the emotional questions of how he solved the irregularities in the Jeevan Dhan scheme implemented by the governments.

Shekar's movie was released in theaters on May 20, 2022.
