Ustaad Bhagat Singh Story
Ustaad Bhagat Singh is a romantic action entertainer directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The film stars Pawan Kalyan, Sreeleela, and Raashi Khanna in the lead roles, alongside R. Parthiban, Ashutosh Rana, Nawab Shah, B. S. Avinash, Gautami, Chammak Chandra, and others in supporting roles. The music for the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, while Thaman S has provided the background score. Cinematography is handled by Ayananka Bose, and editing is done by Karthika Srinivas. The film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner.
The film was initially titled Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh and was officially launched on December 12, 2022.
Story
An orphan named Chinnayya (Pawan Kalyan) is adopted and raised by headmaster Chandrasekhar (K.S. Ravikumar), who names him Ustaad Bhagat Singh. Inspired by his mentor, Bhagat Singh grows up to fight against injustice and corruption. As an ACP working in the Old City, he develops a strong rivalry with MLA Nalla Nagappa (Parthiban) and his family, which eventually leads to his suspension from duty.
After his suspension, Bhagat Singh spends his time in the Nallamala forest, supporting tribal communities while working as a teacher. During this period, he captures Nagappa’s son over a conflict. In retaliation, Nagappa’s men kidnap Shloka (Raashi Khanna), who happens to be visiting the region on a vacation, in order to secure his son’s release.
Why did the rivalry begin between Bhagat Singh and Nalla Nagappa? Why did Bhagat target Nagappa’s son? What decision does Bhagat Singh take after Shloka is kidnapped? What is the relationship between Bhagat Singh and Leela (Sreeleela), and how does their love story unfold? How does Bhagat politically outsmart Nagappa and put an end to extremist activities carried out in the name of religion in the Old City? The answers to these questions form the core story of Ustaad Bhagat Singh.
