Kalki 2898 AD OTT Rights Sold For A STUNNING Deal: Prabhas, the pan-India star's upcoming project is one of the highly anticipated, star-studded sci-fi thriller set in the dystopian world titled Kalki 2898 AD. Kalki 2898 AD aka Project K features legends Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan, along with Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. The movie is being made on a massive budget of about Rs 600 Crore. The movie is gearing up for the massive theatrical release on June 27 in five languages.

The movie is set in the future in a fictional city called Kashi. Prabhas will be seen playing the character of Bhairava, whose aim is to earn more units and move to the Complex. He then finds and signs up for SUM 80. Ashwattama, meanwhile, vows to protect SUM 80 and her child. What happens next? is all about Kalki 2898 AD.

The science fiction movie, which was made on a budget of Rs 600 Crore has fetched more than half of its entire expenditure from selling away the digital streaming rights.

Filmibeat earlier reported that Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD's OTT rights were secured by not one but two streaming giants. While Netflix bought the Hindi version rights to the movie for a massive Rs 175 Crore, Amazon Prime Video spent about Rs 200 Crore for the southern languages of the movie. If this is true, Kalki 2898 AD set the new and benchmark straight and high with the massive deal.

This epic mythological sci-fi film stars Prabhas as Bhairava, a bounty hunter, Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwattama, Kamal Haasan as Supreme Yaskin, Deepika Padukone as SUM-80, Disha Patani as Roxie, Saswata Chatterjee as Commander Manas, Brahmanandam as Rajan, Bhairava's landlord, Pasupathy as Veeram, a rebel from Shambhala, Anna Ben as Kyra, Shobana, Harshith Malgireddy, Rajendra Prasad, and Keerthy Suresh (voice-over) as BU-JZ-1 alias Bujji.
