Amid all this, a case was filed against the superstar after after a woman died during the film's screening at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad.
Earlier today (December 13), reports stated that Allu Arjun arrested by the Hyderabad police in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case. For those who are unaware, a woman named Revati lost her life in the chaos, while her son sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment.
ALLU ARJUN ARREST TRUTH REVEALED
On Friday, personnel from the Hyderabad Police Commissioner's Task Force, along with officers from the Chikkadpally police station, reportedly detained Allu Arjun at his residence. The actor had previously filed a petition with the Telangana High Court to have his name removed from the FIR, but the case is yet to be heard. Meanwhile, the owner of Sandhya Theatre and two of its employees have already been taken into custody.
While the arrest news left Allu Arjun fans tensed, it looks like that's not the truth. The latest update states that Allu Arjun is not arrested and he is just helping the police with investigation. However, an official statement regarding the same is still awaited.
For the uninitiated, Police had registered against the management of Sandhya Theatre, the actor, and his security team. Authorities stated that they were not informed in advance about the film's team attending the premiere, which contributed to the chaotic situation.
