Jajikaya From Akhanda 2: Balakrishna, Samyuktha Menon’s Dance Number Leaves Internet Divided

Akhanda 2, the upcoming fantasy action-drama film which features Nandamuri Balakrishna in the titular role, is gearing up to hit the theatres on 5 December 2025. Ahead of the grand release, the makers of the film recently dropped a new single featuring the senior Telugu superstar, along with Malayali actress Samyuktha Menon, who plays the female lead in the film. The song video, titled 'Jajikaya' has now left the internet divided.

The die-hard fans of Balakrishna are celebrating the release of the new single and are calling it a highly energetic number. However, the normal cinegoers are finding the song just another extension of the senior actor's bizarre dance numbers. The alarming age gap between the lead pair is one of their main concerns. Apart from this, the lazy choreography and S Thaman's routine tune have failed to impress film fanatics.

Meanwhile, a group of netizens took to the social media platform Reddit and revealed why they think Samyuktha is a misfit in the song. The redditors state that the actress is not cut out for such dance numbers and added that she is visibly struggling with her steps and expressions in the Jajikaya song video. Some of them are also seen pointing out the actress's uncanny resemblance to the celebrated actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
