Directed by Anil Ravipudi and featuring Venkatesh, Aishwarya Rajesh, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sai Kumar, and VTV Ganesh among others, Sankranthiki Vasthunam opened to positive reviews from fans and critics alike.

Amid high anticipation, the crime-comedy drama went on to earn Rs 23 cr on the day of its release, as per Sacnilk. Reportedly, the movie had an overall 86.11% Telugu occupancy on Tuesday (January 14).

The movie revolves around of a happily married couple whose life turns chaotic after the arrival of the male protagonist's ex seeking help of a murder case.

After a solid opening, Venkatesh Daggubati starrer Sankranthiki Vasthunam is maintaining a strong hold at the ticket counters on the second day as well (today). According to the latest Sacnilk updates, the movie has netted around Rs 10.84 cr today (Jan 15) till 4:35 pm, taking the total nett collection to Rs 33.84 cr.

The Venkatesh starrer seems to be crushing Ram Charan-Kiara Advani's political-thriller Game Changer on Wednesday. As per Sacnilk, Game Changer has raked in R 2.72 cr approx. till 4:35 pm, almost 4 times lesser than Sankranthiki Vasthunam.
